Blue Dream -Handmade Mediterranean Journal
Blue doors, sunlit lemons, pink flowers and memories of the sea.
Inspired by a trip to Italy, I revisited this handmade journal and added more of the colours and details I wanted to remember. Lemons now brighten the spine and back cover, while new decorative tags bring the same Mediterranean mood into its pages.
The layered front cover combines a weathered turquoise door, a large pink flower and seaside embellishments around the words: “Follow the river and you will find the SEA.”
Inside, shades of blue and pink meet warm yellow accents, patterned tiles, floral papers and nautical details. Pockets hold removable tags and decorative cards, with little scenes of sailboats, a lighthouse, seashells and a table overlooking the water. Ribbons, twine and layered paper details add texture throughout.
Alongside the decorated pages, there are lined and blank spaces for writing, adding photographs and keeping small reminders of your own journeys.
